That part of the Home Page devoted to my family
I understand that somewhere someone has created a rather detailed family tree - both on my Dad's and my Mum's side of the family. When time permits it would be nice to take those family trees, in their entirity and let them form part of this web page. For now I should be content to let you know about those family members with which I am most familiar (trying not to leave any out for fear that they might be offended).
This is my mum and dad and they live in Eden on the far south coast of New South Wales. As the name implies, the Polak home in Eden is an idyllic slice of paradise to which we can all return when things in the real world all get a bit too much. Mum and Dad are both retired, although Dad does not really accept that description and Mum continues to do some part-time work from home as a patchwork teacher.
Larry is my elder brother. He married Larissa in 1994 and they now live in Newcastle, New South Wales, where Larry works as a real estate agent in training for The Professionals and Larissa is a Primary School teacher and Music teacher in a local school. Larry and Larissa are expecting their first child (a boy) in July of 1999.
Suzanne is my younger sister. Having finished school in Eden in 1992 she moved to Canberra and completed a course in Tourism and Secretarial studies. From there she changed direction (for the better) and moved to an on-campus agricultural college in Longreach in far north Queensland. There she pursued her love of horses and on completion headed off to Canada on an agricultural exchange program. This led to work opportunites in Denmark where she has (for all intents and purposes) remained in the employ of a thoroughbred Arabian/Quaterhorse stud. She loves it and who can blame her.
